Teen Classes

Our Youth Program helps teens discover the fun in fitness while understanding its importance for their current and future well-being. We address the challenges of sedentary lifestyles by promoting engaging physical activities that support their physical, social, and emotional development. Through our supportive coaching, teens build confidence and learn to embrace new challenges, fostering a lifelong love for fitness and a healthier, more active lifestyle.

Building Strong, Confident Teens Through Fitness

In our Youth Program (ages 11-17), teens not only discover that fitness can be fun but also gain a deeper understanding of the importance of movement in their lives now and in the future. Many young people today tend to concentrate on a single sport or spend excessive time in front of screens, leading to a predominantly sedentary lifestyle. Our classes address this by promoting physical activity that enhances overall well-being and supports their physical, social, and emotional development.

Through engaging workouts and supportive coaching, we help teens build confidence in their abilities, encouraging them to step outside their comfort zones and embrace new challenges. We aim to inspire a lifelong love for fitness, empowering our youth to lead healthier, more active lives while fostering self-esteem and resilience.

Our teens classes focus on building overall strength through a variety of engaging exercises tailored to their developmental needs. By incorporating functional movements, teens enhance their physical capabilities, which not only supports their athletic pursuits but also promotes healthy growth and development.

Small Class Size

With classes capped at just 8 teens, we ensure personalized attention and a more intimate learning experience. This small group setting allows our coaches to closely monitor each teen's progress, provide tailored guidance, and foster strong connections among peers.

Our program instills a love for movement and healthy habits that teens can carry into adulthood. By emphasizing the importance of physical activity and teaching essential fitness skills, we help set the stage for a lifetime of health, wellness, and confidence in their abilities.

1 class for $35
10 pack for $320 (4 month expiration)

Policies

Register In Advance
Please register your teen for class in advance using the Gowanus Fitness app. It’s helpful to know who is attending so we may provide the best possible fitness experience. That said, you may register your teen as late as the class start time.

Check-In to Class

Please remember to check-in to class when you arrive using the iPad on the reception desk.

Late Cancel

If you cancel a class reservation within 4 hours of class starting, it will count against your attendance.

No Show

If you don’t attend a class that you are registered for, it will also count against your attendance.

Photography

By signing the waiver, you consent to Gowanus Fitness using photographs and videos for its website, social media, and advertising.
